Qualifications

All candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications

✍ A Bachelor’s degree awarded by a University established by law in India

✍ A Master’s degree from a recognised University

✍ A qualification recognised by the Government of India as being equivalent to one of the above

Qualifications

The number of times a candidate can appear for the exam are

✍ General Category Candidates – 5 attempts till 35 years of age

✍ Other Category OBC Candidates – only 7 attempts till 38 years of age

✍ Category 1 OBC Candidates – only 7 attempts till 40 years of age

✍ SC/ST candidates – unlimited attempts till 37 years of age
